This case is made by Drew and Sons Piccadilly and we have all the old bottles, ink wells, glove stretchers etc. Unfortunately the case itself was kept in a very damp attic and the green silk interior has rotted, although the case itself is intact being made of good thick leather. My main aim is to repair or refit the interior with whatever materials are appropriate, I want it to look smart again for my daughter''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s 21st birthday. This would also involve cleaning up the case outside. I have tried many shops and a box restorer without success and am fully prepared for disappointment again, but I''''''''ll keep trying until I run out of time. Her birthday is April 5th.
Please let me know if you can help me. I can jump on a train and bring it to you for inspection if required.

The gap is not through lack of thanks, we have kindly received toffees and sweeties, in the post, and have received several phone calls which really bucks one up when occasionally we have to deal with prolonged moans, from young buyers of spam copies of branded goods purchased on ebay for a fortune when they are worth a prawn sandwich. to use an expression from elsewhere.
